Lauren and Adam chose one of our favourite venues in the Southern Highlands – the Gibraltar Hotel, which is a fantastic all-in-one venue with modern hotel rooms for getting ready, great indoor and outdoor ceremony options and several reception rooms.

Bride, Lauren shared her thoughts on working with D’nM …

How was your experience working with D’nM Wedding Films?
We thoroughly enjoyed working with D’nM Wedding Films. We felt supported in the planning stages and then completely at ease with the crew on our big day.

Why was video important to you?
We wanted the video mostly to have a visual memory of the day. And lucky we did. The day was such a blur. We couldn’t wait to watch the film back.

Why did you choose D’nM ?
We chose D’nM because of their style of storytelling. We had researched quite a few companies and DnM’s visual and storytelling style was so effortless it really resonated with us.

How were the team on your wedding day?
The team were so friendly and completely made us feel at ease on the day. Most of the time we didn’t even know they were around.

Tell us about choosing your wedding dress?
I chose my dress in one day. I knew the designer I liked and had tried on a few styles.. I would never have picked the dress that I actually went with but it just felt right when I put it on.. And it helped that my bridesmaid yelled out va va voom!! I thought. This must be my dress..

Tell us about other suppliers that you loved working with.
Darryn Mckay was our photographer. His photos captured every moment of our day wonderfully.  He was a wonderful energy to have around on the day, made us feel at ease.

Also. A special mention to the baker boys. Our band. They did such a wonderful job. We wish we could have the day again, just to sit and listen to the band.

What were your favourite moments from your wedding day?
It’s too hard to pick a favourite moment. The whole day was just so wonderful! A day we will never forget.

Why did you choose your location / venues?
We wanted to be away from the home for our wedding. It was important to us to make the wedding more about a weekend of celebrations than just the day.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding?
It’s so easy to get caught up and bogged down in the detail that you can very easily forget the real reason why you’re planning a wedding in the first place. It’s about the two of you getting married and that’s all that matters. So don’t sweat the small stuff.
