Lana & Chris | Observatory Hill Sydney Wedding

Lana & Chris | Observatory Hill Sydney Wedding

We love a wedding with door games!  The boys are put through a few torturous tasks in order for the groom to earn his way in to meet the bride.  Many thanks to our friends at Welsch Photography who referred Lana & Chris to us!

Lana and Chris share their thoughts and experience;

How was your experience working with D’nM Wedding Films?
Very good. Dave was very professional and considerate, he and his assistant didn’t intrude at all. They were very enthusiastic and we are very happy with the final product.

Why was video important to you?
We knew the day would pass in a blur – as it indeed did – and so as well as having photos to capture the day, we thought the video would help capture the atmosphere. It was also good to capture what was spoken at the ceremony and reception, moments that can also be lost in the excitement and emotion of the day.

Why did you choose D’nM?
D’nM was actually recommended to us by the photographer that we chose for the day. They had worked together before and it helps when they’re working with each other, rather than getting in each other’s way!

How were the team on your wedding day?
They were very helpful, professional, considerate and calm. They didn’t intrude at all, which was important.

Tell us about other suppliers that you loved working with.
The photographers – Welsch Photography – were also very good.

What were your favourite moments from your wedding day?
Hard to pinpoint as they were all special in very different ways, from the Chinese games in the morning, to the ceremony on Observatory Hill, to the reception at Quay.

Why did you choose your location / venues?
Observatory Hill can be a slight gamble weather wise – but it does have a pagoda in case it is raining. It was sunny for us, though, and the Harbour Bridge provided a stunning backdrop.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding?
Don’t panic! We weren’t the most organised – we only booked D’nM about 2 weeks before the wedding day! – but it all worked out perfectly on the day. And remember – while you might get bogged down in all the details to make it as special as possible, the fact you’re actually getting married to the one you love is always the most important bit!
