Unplugged Weddings

Unplugged Weddings

Can you pick the odd one out in this photo?

UncleBob

We are in an age where technology is literally at everyone’s fingertips.  At many of the weddings we film, we notice that a large portion of the guests can’t wait to whip out their camera or iPhone and be the first to post a photo of the newly-weds on Facebook.

All too often, we see examples like the one above, where our helpful friend is filming the bridal waltz on his Nintendo DS. Or we see the bride walking down the aisle, gently illuminated by the gorgeous glow of 100 iPhones and iPads held by well-meaning family and friends who create obstacles not only for the professionals, but also for the groom who is trying to catch a glimpse of his bride walking toward him.

Unplug

A trend that we are seeing emerging is the ‘Unplugged Wedding’, where the bride and groom make a request that their guests leave their cameras at home – so that the guests can enjoy the moment and be ‘present’ with the couple throughout the wedding.

This idea is dripping with awesome-sauce !!  We love it !!

Trust us! We have got you covered!  We’re confident that we’ll provide you with better coverage and can guarantee that our image quality will be better than an iPhone or Nintendo DS  🙂   Trust in your hired professionals and your professional results will be significantly better.
