What an amazing wedding! Jordana’s and Adam’s wedding was very centered around their families, with some amazing and touching moments in their speeches paying great respect to their parents and grandparents in particular. One of the many highlights was their choreographed bridal waltz to Bruno Mars’ ‘Marry You’. The Hilton Hotel ballroom looked spectacular, [...]

At Jewish wedding ceremonies it is often spoken that Jewish marriage reunites two halves of one soul. Maybe it was love at first sight, maybe it was the instant recognition of their own true ‘other half’ – but quite literally from the moment they met, Evie and Jon knew that they were meant to be [...]

Ok, so part of this video needs some explanation ! It is customary at some asian weddings for the bridesmaids to set tasks of varying difficulty for the groom and his entourage to perform before gaining access to the house to see / collect the bride. On Saturday, Shirphine’s bridesmaids demanded money, made Leong sign [...]
Many brides would get upset if their wedding dress got a little dirty on the wedding day … not Charlotte. Charlotte’s solution was to simply jump into the Hyde Park fountain and give it a quick clean !! That is a great example of what an easy-going couple Charlotte and Tom are. This video also [...]

It is traditional in some asian cultures that the groom has to earn his way into the bride’s home to ‘collect’ her. Often, the bridesmaids stand in the way of the groom and his groomsmen and set a number of tasks to be completed to prove his love for the bride before he can gain [...]
Elena & Leo’s story was beautifully told on the wedding day by their good friends Irene & Kenneth – we had to use their narrative as the basis for this highlight clip. It was a day that featured some challenges for Leo to be allowed through the gate to collect his bride, followed by a [...]

Carparks hold a special sentimentality for Daphne and Andrew . It was in a carpark that they shared their first kiss and … well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out what else happened in a carpark! The wedding did not take place in a carpark, but rather inside Mary Immaculate Church in [...]
Tammie commands a pretty striking resemblance to Angelina Jolie, but Tammie and Adam will soon be stars in their own right as cast-members of the upcoming television series ‘Four Weddings’. Tammie and Adam’s Australiana-themed wedding was quite unique in that we filmed alongside a crew of about 8 who were there to put together an [...]

So, maybe it wasn’t love at first sight with Andrew wearing a mask and Sarah in her best ‘daggies’, but nonetheless it was a first meeting that made an impression on both of them. We were excited to head up to the Hunter Valley to film Sarah & Andrew’s wedding day. The ceremony was held [...]
As Marc explains; Esse quam videri has a Latin meaning of ‘To Be, rather than to seem to be’. Although Marc uses the phrase to describe his bride as the real-deal, I think all would agree that equally; Together, Rachel and Marc are the real-deal. Try this … join your hands together with your finger tips touching each other. Collapse your middle fingers so that they touch at your 2nd knuckle. Now try to separate your ring fingers. You can’t do it !! Lauren & Harley’s priest uses this as an analogy for the relationship between husband and wife. Whilst [...]

Haleh & Angelo were married in the Garden of Eden … well, otherwise known as ‘Eden Gardens‘ at North Ryde Although it rained throughout the photo shoot, I think it lent itself to some beautiful, romantic footage taken around the city streets. Malithi and Carlos’ wedding was one of the most beautiful that we have had the privilege to film. Malithi looked stunning in her sari-styled wedding dress – [...]
A chance meeting in a very unlikely place has lead Shanneen & John to their wedding day. We had to also incorporate John’s other love into the film – his Harley Thankfully, Shanneen loves nothing more than to ride along beside him (or behind him to be technically correct). It’s not often that a bridal party will spontaneously break out into the Chicken Dance in the middle of the photo shoot, but that’s exactly what happened at Rachel & Steven’s wedding! Married on Nov 15th, 2009 at Our Lady of Victories (which has featured in a few of our videos lately) and reception at [...]

Annielle and Dylan were unfortunate victims of an unscrupulous photography & video company who showed them beautiful samples of work – but were unable to deliver the same quality in their final product. I believe that this practice is disgraceful and does great damage to the wedding industry as a whole. Annielle and Dylan came [...]

Hi Dave!
I am so happy that they chose our clip – but not surprised about the honour – you and your team are incredible.
I have been getting so much feedback about the film-alot of the feedback relates to how we appeared as we actually are in real life. That is due to your sensitive, patient approach. You are a bit of a special person, you know! You created a space for us where we both felt safe to be ourselves, where we could share some of our thoughts and emotions without fear. Ian is very much like this as well, so we were comfortable through the whole process.
The editing was so sensitive as well, little bursts of humor came through with the right balance of emotion. Kristy really handled our story with kid gloves, the story seemed to unfold so naturally – and the music selection just brought it all together.
The choice to shoot in the mountains is another reason why I think it was a big hit. The colour and the scenery was beautiful as well. It amazed me how it all fitted beautifully together.
Filming Our Story wasn’t that easy: John being so late for the first shoot, and then getting limited time before that downpour and subsequent flooding in the mountains! Having broken my leg in an accident about a year ago meant that I was in pain and limited the shots we could get, rainy weather meaning we couldn’t shoot on the bike, John talking when you were trying to set up shots ( ha ha!). Through it all you were patient, understanding, you listened to us and you were professional (without being cold).
Thank you so much. We wanted our reception to have a moment where it went POP! The moment we shared our story with all of our friends and family was that moment. I feel as if they all know John and I just that little bit better now.
You and your team have created a beautiful, wonderful film that we will cherish for many many years to come – I cannot thank you all enough.
